Algonquin Provincial Park is Ontario's oldest and largest provincial park, covering nearly 7,700 square kilometres of rugged Canadian Shield wilderness between Georgian Bay and the Ottawa River. It is renowned for its vast network of lakes, rivers, and portage routes that make it one of North America's premier canoe-tripping destinations, with over 2,000 kilometres of paddling routes to explore. The park is also celebrated for wildlife watching — moose, wolves, black bears, and loons are commonly spotted — as well as hiking, camping, and fly-fishing. Come autumn, Algonquin draws visitors from across the continent for its spectacular fall foliage, a riot of red, orange, and gold that peaks in early October.

Missions

Nobody's posted a Mission for Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada yet — which, frankly, is an opportunity.

Wait, what's a Mission? It's not a scheduled trip with dates and a minimum group size like a Departure — it's a goal. Learn to dive, do a Muay Thai camp, live somewhere for a month and work on something, chase one very specific experience. Post it, and other people chasing the same thing find you.

Be the first to post one: "Learn the first 20 seconds of a local dance, then perform it, uninvited, at every bar you visit."
