Cao Bang & Ban Gioc Waterfall, Vietnam
1 itinerary · 0 open departures · 0 missions
Cao Bang is a remote mountainous province in northeastern Vietnam, bordering China and home to some of the country's most dramatic karst landscapes. It is best known for Ban Gioc Waterfall — one of Southeast Asia's largest and most spectacular waterfalls, straddling the Vietnamese-Chinese border on the Quay Son River. The region is also a gateway to Nguom Ngao Cave, the Phia Oac–Phia Den National Park, and the historic Pac Bo Cave, where Ho Chi Minh lived in exile. Travellers head here for off-the-beaten-path adventure, motorbike touring through rice terraces and limestone peaks, and cultural encounters with ethnic minority communities including the Tay, Nung, and Hmong peoples.

Missions
Nobody's posted a Mission for Cao Bang & Ban Gioc Waterfall, Vietnam yet — which, frankly, is an opportunity.
Wait, what's a Mission? It's not a scheduled trip with dates and a minimum group size like a Departure — it's a goal. Learn to dive, do a Muay Thai camp, live somewhere for a month and work on something, chase one very specific experience. Post it, and other people chasing the same thing find you.
Be the first to post one: "Find the most locally-hated tourist trap and go anyway, unironically, in a costume."
