1 itinerary · 0 open departures · 0 missions
Southern Egypt's Nile corridor is one of the world's great historical journeys, linking some of antiquity's most spectacular monuments. Luxor sits on the ancient city of Thebes and is home to the vast temple complexes of Karnak and Luxor, as well as the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank. Travelling south by river or road reveals the Ptolemaic temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo, before reaching Aswan — a relaxed Nubian city set among granite islands and famous for the High Dam and the temple of Philae. The journey culminates at Abu Simbel, where Ramesses II's colossal rock-cut temples stand near the Sudanese border, drawing travellers for their sheer scale and iconic status.

Missions
Nobody's posted a Mission for Egypt (Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan, Abu Simbel) yet — which, frankly, is an opportunity.
Wait, what's a Mission? It's not a scheduled trip with dates and a minimum group size like a Departure — it's a goal. Learn to dive, do a Muay Thai camp, live somewhere for a month and work on something, chase one very specific experience. Post it, and other people chasing the same thing find you.
Be the first to post one: "Learn a completely impractical skill from a local — fire spinning, competitive coconut opening, whatever — and become weirdly good at it."
