Instead of a coach and a trip manager, you'll use Britain's trains and intercity coaches and Ireland's buses and rail, staying in hostels, guesthouses and budget hotels. All costs are approximate per person in GBP, assuming dorm rooms or shared hostel rooms in summer and self-catering where possible.
