A solo-friendly, self-launched version of G Adventures' 22-day Jakarta-to-Sanur Java, Bali & Lombok loop. You'll cover the same route — Jakarta and Bandung, the temple giants of Yogyakarta (Borobudur and Prambanan), the Mt Bromo sunrise, a Tengger village homestay, then Bali's Sanur, Munduk, Kintamani and Ubud, before crossing to Lombok for Tetebatu's rice fields, Sendang Gila waterfall, the Gili Islands and a snorkelling day. Instead of a group CEO and private vans, you'll use the excellent (and cheap) Indonesian rail network, intercity buses, public ferries and fast boats, book activities directly through local operators or GetYourGuide/Klook, and stay in hostels, guesthouses and homestays roughly on par with the tour's simple hotels. All costs are approximate backpacker rates in GBP and exclude international flights to/from Indonesia.
