A do-it-yourself version of the classic two-day Toubkal summit weekend: get yourself from Marrakesh to Imlil by shared grand taxi, overnight at a refuge above 3,200 m, and climb North Africa's highest peak (4,167 m) for sunrise. Instead of a private guided package, you arrange a local certified guide in Imlil (required by law for the summit and easy to find on arrival or via your guesthouse), book the refuge directly, and eat at refuge/guesthouse kitchens.
