The Österlenleden Trail: Self-Launched Walking Week (Ystad to Brösarp)

An 8-day self-launched version of Traventuria's guided walking package along the Österlenleden trail in Skåne — Sweden's sunny southeast corner. You'll walk roughly 100 km from Ystad's harbour through fishing villages (Kåseberga, Skillinge, Simrishamn, Kivik) and past Ales Stenar, Sandhammaren and Stenshuvud, ending with the Hallmölla waterfall and the Andrarum alum works near Brösarp. There's no group and no guide: you book your own B&Bs and hostels in each village, follow the well-marked Skåneleden trail (orange markers, also on the free Skåneleden/GPS apps), and use Skånetrafiken buses to hop back to your base or skip a section if the weather turns. Costs below are realistic backpacker/independent estimates in GBP — Sweden is not cheap, so the savings come from booking directly rather than from rock-bottom prices.
