Sapa & Fansipan, Northern Vietnam
1 itinerary · 0 open departures · 0 missions
Sapa is a highland town in Lào Cai Province in northwestern Vietnam, set amid the Hoàng Liên Son mountain range close to the Chinese border. It's best known as the gateway to Fansipan — at 3,147 metres, the highest peak in Vietnam and all of Indochina — which can be summited on foot or reached by cable car. The region draws trekkers and adventurers keen to hike through dramatic terraced rice fields, dense valleys, and remote ethnic minority villages home to communities such as the Hmong, Dao, and Tày. Its cool mountain climate, spectacular scenery, and rich cultural diversity make it one of northern Vietnam's most iconic destinations.

Missions
Nobody's posted a Mission for Sapa & Fansipan, Northern Vietnam yet — which, frankly, is an opportunity.
Wait, what's a Mission? It's not a scheduled trip with dates and a minimum group size like a Departure — it's a goal. Learn to dive, do a Muay Thai camp, live somewhere for a month and work on something, chase one very specific experience. Post it, and other people chasing the same thing find you.
Be the first to post one: "Find the most locally-hated tourist trap and go anyway, unironically, in a costume."
