Instead of 4-star hotels and a private minibus, you'll use Portugal's excellent train and bus network (Rede Expressos, Flixbus, CP trains), sleep in central hostels/guesthouses, join a small-group walking tour in Évora and a sunset cliffs tour in Lagos via GetYourGuide, and eat like a local. Ride-hailing (Bolt/Uber) covers the Sagres–Cabo de São Vicente leg where buses are thin. Costs are approximate per person, based on budget-traveller rates in GBP.
