Zambia (Lower Zambezi)
1 itinerary · 0 open departures · 0 missions
The Lower Zambezi is one of Zambia's most spectacular wilderness areas, stretching along the southern bank of the Zambezi River opposite Zimbabwe's Mana Pools National Park. The region is best known for world-class tiger fishing, canoe safaris, and walking safaris that put travellers directly into the heart of the African bush without fences or barriers. Elephants, lions, leopards, hippos, and enormous crocodiles are commonly encountered along the riverbanks and floodplains. It remains one of southern Africa's least crowded safari destinations, drawing adventurous travellers who prefer raw, immersive wildlife experiences over manicured game reserves.

Missions
Nobody's posted a Mission for Zambia (Lower Zambezi) yet — which, frankly, is an opportunity.
Wait, what's a Mission? It's not a scheduled trip with dates and a minimum group size like a Departure — it's a goal. Learn to dive, do a Muay Thai camp, live somewhere for a month and work on something, chase one very specific experience. Post it, and other people chasing the same thing find you.
Be the first to post one: "Learn the first 20 seconds of a local dance, then perform it, uninvited, at every bar you visit."
