10 days · Borneo (Sabah), Malaysia

Intrepid Travel charges £764

£336saved per person (44%)

No-markup version: ~£428 per person

Estimate only, not a guaranteed price. Always verify costs independently before booking.

Experience the best of Sabah, Malaysian Borneo — orangutans, pygmy elephants, jungle lodges, village treks and island snorkelling — all without the group tour price tag. This self-launched itinerary follows the same route as Intrepid's Real Borneo trip, swapping private group transport for shared minibuses and self-booked taxis, and replacing guided inclusions with independently bookable equivalents via GetYourGuide, Klook and direct operator booking. All costs are approximate estimates per person based on current budget traveller rates.
