Cinque Terre Hiking Day

Today is all about the famous coastal hiking trails. The Sentiero Azzurro (Blue Trail, Trail No.2) is the classic route connecting all five villages — Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso. The most scenic open sections are Vernazza–Corniglia (~1.5 hrs) and Corniglia–Manarola (~1.5 hrs). Trail access is included in the Cinque Terre Card (~£10). Spend your penultimate day exploring Rome's Baroque treasures and lesser-known gems. The Borghese Gallery houses Bernini's greatest sculptures — tickets are strictly timed and must be booked ahead at borghese.it (~£14). Stroll through Villa Borghese park (free) for a relaxed afternoon. Visit the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain (arrive early morning to avoid peak crowds). In the evening, explore the Pigneto or Ostiense neighbourhoods for Rome's thriving street art scene and excellent nightlife.

Departure from Rome
