An independent 11-day version of the Cairo-to-Luxor Nile cruise itinerary: three nights in Cairo with day trips to Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum and Alexandria, then onward by overnight train or budget flight down the Nile to Luxor, where you join a locally-booked Nile cruise or riverboat (much cheaper booked direct with an Egyptian operator on arrival) and finish with Aswan, Edfu and Kom Ombo.
