An independent, self-launched 8-day run through northern Spain's Basque Country, Navarra, Aragón and Catalonia — following the same route as Explore!'s fully-guided "Northern Spain Explorer" (Bilbao → San Sebastián → Pamplona → Zaragoza → Montserrat → Barcelona), but booking everything yourself. You'll use Spain's excellent public buses and trains, stay in hostels and budget guesthouses, join small-group food and wine tours on GetYourGuide/Klook, and eat your way through pintxos bars, Rioja bodegas and a hands-on paella class.
